All my adult life I have been inspired by high calibre international art. I have visited many of the great galleries in North America and Europe. What I have seen and admired there both informs my art and provides a challenge which I am attempting to meet on my own terms. My work over the past few years has focussed on four major themes:
- Large Paintings of Heads
- People in Art Galleries
- Seascapes
- Abstracts
Although visually quite separate, they are all driven by the same enquiry which is to explore the use of colour, balance, mood, and space.
